This site is dedicated to the Paradise Garage, and it’s phenomenal DJ, Larry Levan. I’ll share some of the live recordings I have from my collection. I will also add photos that I find online. If you are the owner of photos I post and wish them to be removed from the site, please send me a message, and I will delete them promptly.
In my opinion, the open microphone recordings are so much better than an audiotape from a tape recorder. The crowd noise, Larry working the sound system, you can only get that from these types of recordings. For someone who has never experienced Larry at the Garage, this is vital.
